Hey Dom, and anyone else who has been having funky computer problems (especially if you do not have a hardware firewall or leave your machine in the DMZ), you may want to check out this article about rootkits. They are becoming more common. You can download this program (scroll to the bottom) to test your computer for a possible rootkit. If you find one, back your stuff up and wipe ASAP. Don't keep running a hacked box.
